The Plug half of the mated pair of connectors is usually
found on the cable. Plugs will contain the bayonet (BNC) or threaded coupler
(TNC). Generally, the plug is the male connector and the jack is the female. |
| Push On Connectors are created when the bayonet is removed
from a cable plug. Cable assemblies using the push on style plugs are usually used
for test purposes, easily mating with standard jacks. Push on style connectors are
also used in blind mate rack and panel applications. |

Bulkhead Jacks require a "D" hole cut out in the
panel and pass through either from the front (front mount) or rear (rear mount).
Bulkhead jacks are available with wrench crimp, tool crimp or solder cable terminations. |
| Insulated Bulkhead Jacks provide electrical isolation
between the panel and the body of the connector. |
| Flange Mount Jacks are available only for the TRS/TTM (150
Series) subminiature twinax/triax connectors. |
| Cable Jacks provide the jack fitting for termination to a
cable assembly. |
