3-Lug - Three lug connectors are the popular configuration with twinax/triax connectors.  The lugs are generally set 120 degrees apart, however some series (450 Series and 70 Series) connectors have options for polarizing the connectors - accomplished by using unequal lug spacing.

4-Lug - Utilize four equally spaced lugs to provide an interface for the bayonet sleeve.

Threaded - Threaded coupling nuts are utilized in place of a bayonet coupling sleeve.  The TNC series is a popular example of a threaded connector.

Standard (Default) Values - BNC connectors are 2 lugs, TNC connectors are threaded, TRB connectors are 3 lug, TRT connectors are threaded.
